Android Jones Android Jones is one of the world’s most popular visual artists. The type of art he creates can be described as Electromineralism with a tendency of Pop-Shamanism. He has created live art around the world, including digital visual art projections from the Sydney Opera House in Australia to the Ghats in Varanasi in India. He started his career with George Lucas at Industrial Light and Magic, worked as the only North American concept artist for the Japanese gaming company Nintendo and became creative director for the entertainment development company Massive Black Inc., of which he is a founder. In 2002, Jones helped found a non-profit online art community, conceptart.org, along with Jason Manley and artists like Coro Kaufman, which has attracted more than 80,000 registered users and more than 1.3 million international visits per month. “I've seen things in this life that I am incapable of translating into words. In my practice I have visited realms where the imagination ends, and the terrifying beauty of infinity unfolds over and over again. If I could distill into words exactly what motivates me to create the art that I make than it would not be worth making it. Instead I have chosen the Pen.” |
Damien Jones He began his exploration into the unknown when he took a pottery class after college, in 1990 and quickly found an access to some unique, beautiful expressions working with clay – cutting out 2-D shapes then curving and connecting them to make 3-D forms. Over the next 15 years he developed a large vocabulary of forms, textures, patterns and colors which were employed to create many sculptural vessels. After travelling for over a year in Thailand and India he returned in 2006 and gave himself over full-time to the artistic process. His art is about expressing truths about our nature, and evoking a sense of spiritual presence. He has created and installed over 5 dozen major pieces, including 4 public artworks. “I feel that my work has at last begun to truly speak, and that all the ways I've grown and evolved in myself are starting to express themselves in my sculptures…I look forward to the continuing evolution of this exploration into truth and beauty.”

Hans Walor Hans art moves effortlessly between the bold and the simple, between stark structure and fluid motion inviting viewers to move beyond their ordinary reality. His paintings invoke both action and reactio, coacing the viewer into a multi-dimenional dialogue that speaks from and to the heart. His work has a layered style based on fluidity, structure and color theory. He frequently sites musical compositions, consciousness and Zen amidst urban life chaos. Hans most recent art, as well as his live painting, reflec his travels and entice us to open our eyes to the liminal interplay between fragility and strength. He intends to inspire each of us to discover and embrace our purpose. In addition to his Fire Arts studies at the University of Colorado-Boulder, hans graduated with a bachelors degree in Architecture. The following year Hans moved to Barcelona, spain where he studied the masters and refined his technique. In California, Hans continued his studies at the pretigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. His current studio is based on Venice, California. |
Michael Divine Michael is at the forefront of a resurgent creative wave that draws it’s inspiration not just from art theory and intellectual ideas but also from the basic principles of what it is to lead a healthy and vibrant life. His spirited and vivacious artwork falls in step with a long tradition of artists who base their work on their interpretive visions. With their imaginative wonder and deeper spiritual underpinnings, his paintings reference ancient traditions, modern artistic explorations, and contemporary themes. Michael’s artwork follows in the footsteps of the Symbolist movement of the late 1800’s as it progressed through the Modern Art movements of the early 1900’s. His work is as much inspired by Futurism, Impressionism, and Abstract Artists as it is by the Surrealists and the Fantastic Realists and today’s modern Visionary Art movement. From Wassily Kandinsky’s intuitive balance of line and color to the bold movements of Umberto Boccioni to the psychologically deductive landscapes of Salvador Dali, the elements of the past inform Michael’s art and provide a groundwork to build upon. His work continues a living artistic lineage and narrative adding a very present spiritual component to this artistic vision. Passionate and serene at once, Michael Divine’s images speak with a universal language of beauty that anyone can understand and relate to. Drawing upon his visions and experiences and inspired by everything from art and architecture to music and yoga and dance to nature to the human condition, his work explores the inner worlds of the psyche and the heart. He translates this experience into breathtakingly sublime imagery that illustrates the journey of growth and transcendence through the inescapable phenomenon of human existence and conditioning. |
Dennis Konstantin On the journey to a new form of expression, the so called “Quantum Realism”, artist Dennis Konstantin unifies the search for the inner structure of things with the phantasmagorias of the phantastic and the vivid color spectrum of today’s visionary art. Taking building blocks out of Cubism, Pointilism and Futurism, the artist is not interested in the mere copy of things, rather more he wants to show us the non-static nature of our reality. His work is dominated by the expression of change, the metamorphosis of 3-dimensional structures into their next state of existence. The greatest inspiration for the artist comes from the latest insights of quantum mechanics and eastern philosophy which both realize the world as vibrating field of form. Dennis Konstantin transfers this knowledge into painting by trying to “weave” objects together by layering lines of color. Although he has a very scientific approach to painting it is also important for the artist to tell stories with this kind of expression. So the figures in his work are on a constant journey to personal freedom and a reality behind our well-worn thought structures. |
Susan Boulet Susan Seddon-Boulet is considered one of the founders of the visionary art movement in the United States. Her paintings are widely held in collections around the world. Her work is a complex layering of the anthropomorphic images of animals, Shamans and Goddesses. Working primarily in French oil pastels, inks and occasionally pencil, she developed a distinctive personal style characterized by the use of color applied in layers from which dream-like forms emerged. She drew her inspiration from a wide variety of sources: mythology and poetry, Jungian psychology and worldwide spiritual traditions, as well as a deep love of animal and the natural world. There is a fairy tale quality to her work, a sentimental reacalling of childhood dreams of fairies and castles and magic. Her art exerted and continues to exert a profound influence on the lives that it touches. Anais Nin wrote: "These figures are out of our dreams, those which flee from us upon awakening, those which are dispersed like dew at dawn, those which fall apart between our fingers like dust-roses"

Joma Sipes Joma is best known at Mystic for his incredible Living Mandalas and their perfect geometry and beauty. One looks at these pieces of art and feels them re-wiring our minds and spirits into harmony. It’s an extraordinary experience. He got started painting conventional pictures, such as landscapes and portraits, using oils and acrylics with exuberant colors. Eventually he realized that this was not the way he wanted to express his spiritual and artistic feelings. He had no specific training in arts in general and was a civil engineer by day which he helped him with the geometrical and accurate form of drawing, trying to be as “perfect” as he could with the lines. He was essentially self-educated in the drawing process and art in general. His interest in Mythology and Visionary landscapes are part of his work. He started by drawing and painting his Mandalas 2000-2005, having as inspiration esoteric and mythological subjects, energy, and geometry. |
Jena La Flame Jena la Flamme is a tribal fusion bellydancer. She draws her inspiration from ancient temple dance traditions where priestess-dancer-storytellers transmitted sacred myths, legends and stories, through their dance. A lover of world-music, exotic costumery, and of all things gypsy, Jena strives to convey in her dance her reverence for freedom, creative expression, sensuality and the pleasure of aliveness itself. She performs live at festivals, parties, and at live events with musicians and music producers. |
Cosmic Cowboy COSMIC COWBOY (aka Jonathan Yudis) has been contributing his unique performance based / multi-media art to Burning Man since 1998. His art focuses on creating direct experience for participants that explores and inspires love, joy & inter-connection. His projects (co-created with Cyberius Rex/ Timothy Johnson) have ranged from traditional music and theater: Godspell @ Burning Man (2009) & Cosmic Cowboy Cometh (1998) to large scale sculptures including the Psychadelic Torah (1999), Living Coffin (2000), and 11:11 T.O.T.E.M (2007), to world record attempts of aerial art on the playa (2011), U.F.O.'s (2003) and even a Time Machine (2013). |
