In addition to his Fire Arts studies at the University of Colorado-Boulder, hans graduated with a bachelors degree in Architecture. The following year Hans moved to Barcelona, spain where he studied the masters and refined his technique. In California, Hans continued his studies at the pretigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. His current studio is based on Venice, California.
