ANDROID'S SAMSKARA & MICRODOSE VR DOMES (Tuesday - Sunday 9:00AM - 9:00 PM)
In the most powerful combination to date, Android Jones and his team are creating an art installation at Burning Man in 2017 that includes his latest Microdose VR Interactive Virtual Reality Technology plus the 360 Fully Immersive Film, Samskara. Microdose VR is defining a new medium of artistic expression never before possible. It combines art, music, and dance into a real-time virtual reality gaming experience. This project combines custom built software, android's artwork, and several HTC Vive stations which allows participants to control the world inside the dome. We’re excited to bring a personal VR experience into a collective experience that everyone can enjoy.
SAMSKARA is a stunning, fully immersive, full dome film of specially designed 360-animations and soundscapes produced in collaboration with Fulldome Lab. A unique approach combining digital technology and modern design. It penetrates the viewer’s entire experience, pushing the boundaries of imagination through specially designed animations and soundscapes.

Sensual Movement wakes up your soul & reminds you you’re free. Burning Man takes us out of linear thinking and into expanded ways of viewing the world. Similarly, this playshop will take you out of linear movement, (walking, biking, etc) and into the realm of sensual movement. Sacred Savasana: Divine Revelatory Yoga
A fusion various spiritual practices (chanting, hatha, kundalini, pranyama) that builds and releases energy, ending with incredibly relaxing savasana.
This three hour ceremony will take you through a fusion various traditional and modern spiritual practices designed to facilitate a revelatory experience. Chanting, breath work, hatha yoga, kundalini yoga and sound healing combine to ground the body, clear the mind and raise the kundalini within. The kriya builds in intensity, culminating in deep, relaxing savasana resulting in introspection and for some, divine revelation.
You will be given instruction into the basics of breath and movement before being guided through a sequence of movement and hatha yoga. After the body has been fully activated, we will transition to a seated practice incorporating pranayam (guided breathwork) to calm the mind and ground the body. Following the breathwork, yogis will move through a kundalini kriya to refresh the spine and activate the kundalini. Energy levels will rise throughout as we combine breath and movement, culminating in a final, deep release into a restorative savasana meditation. Crystal bowls, gongs and other sonic delights will accompany this extended soundbath designed to allow you to fully release into the revelatory state and connect with the divine.

What the Heck is Leadership?: A Scientific Approach
Jason Gore is an executive coach for startup CEOs. His coaching firm specializes in supporting leaders of highly-innovative companies that are reshaping industries, communities, and how the world works.
Many of his clients are young engineers who suddenly found themselves leading large teams. They needed to learn what “good leadership” was, identify their blind spots, practice new communication skills, and improve their ability to lead. After conducting 100s of leadership assessments, the firm (Neuberg, Gore & Associates) was able to scientifically define what good leadership is when it comes to building teams and innovating in the startup environment.

Humankind, Where Do We Go from Here?
I have four missions in life, they all have to do with preserving life as we know it. Mission #1 is to end the use of carbon based fuel. I'm on this mission because we are causing one of the greatest extinctions of geologic history. This great extinction could include us. How can we accomplish this mission?
Mission #2 is to end war. This mission does not have so much to do with people dying as a horrendous misappropriation of money and human effort. If this time and money were not wasted, we could already have a solution to #1. We spent more money in Afghanistan than on all of the history of NASA (Apollo, Space Shuttle, ISS, Mars Rover and hundreds of other worthwhile scientific missions)
Mission #3 is to make a backup of life as we know it. I was a computer game developer. If you expect to be successful, you make backups. The dinosaurs went extinct because they were all here when a relatively small rock from space wiped them out. We are all here. Life as we know it is all here. We must make backups on the Moon and Mars. We must go beyond our solar system.
Mission #4 is to find out how the Universe ends and do something about it. This mission straddles science and philosophy. I'm not even sure what I mean when I say "Universe". I have met with people from cosmologists to reincarnated Buddhist monks in search of what the question actually means, let alone the answer.
What am I to make of these missions. Are they the right ones? Will I be able to accomplish any of them in my lifetime? Does that even matter? If you think these things matter, come to my talk. Burning Man '17, Camp Mystic. Let's talk about it.

We call together some of the best artists on the playa to weave together magic for this night. This dance party begins when you walk into our space as you are surrounded by visionary art, altars, greeters and muses who have experiences to offer, and some of burning man's best artists and performers on stage for you to dance and groove to the beats of with our bassy sound system.

"MYSTIC FLYER EXPERIENCE: Our fabulous, Mutant Vehicle will be back for 2017 and will be better than ever, a true Radical Ritual on board. The plan is to be operational beginning Tuesday at 4 pm. The Mystic Flyer offers 3-hour journeys which start & end at Camp Mystic. The first shift of the day typically starts at 1pm, with shifts going into the night. (Exception: the Flyer will be parked in camp during the Wednesday & Saturday night parties as part of the light show and will be available for Time Traveling participants.)
Our Day programming encourages people to enjoy the artwork of Android Jones, Rodolphe Parfait, and Anthony Meyo and to experience the interactive experience of our Consciousness Time Travel Audio Tracks by Jonathan Yudis and Eric Gilliom, while parked near popular on-Playa art, such as the Man, The Temple and pieces yet unknown. For Night programming, our new, dedicated sound system makes it possible to present the "Flyer After Dark Series", which will feature some great music from an eclectic mix of DJ's and performers from the U.S. and abroad. Sunday - 8pm Departure. Help us strike camp, eat your dinner, board the Flyer for the Temple Burn. Our most sacred night made better by being together on the Flyer.
Monday - Exodus/Flyer Strike. Help put the finishing touches on cleaning and packing up Camp and then learn the process of how to dismantle and pack the Flyer for road travel. Times TBD.

There are more than 50 million innocent displaced people that had to flee for war, poverty, injustice or climate change. The average stay of a refugee in a camp is 17 years. Since WWII the hosting and management of a refugee community in such camps has not changed. Till the day of today refugee camps are harsh survival environments where people risk exploitation, are hopeless and rules of the strongest apply. After being involved in the epicenter of the refugee crisis on the Greek island of Lesvos I came to the knowledge that there is such a big difference to be made in this global issue if we would stop seeing refugees, victims of injustice. Instead we should approach them as individuals with talents, opportunities equal to our own standards and with the same needs. We should be aware that if we would invest in people that have lost everything this investment will be returned to us in gratefulness and willingness to contribute in their own succes. You get what you give... In creating communities that thrive you should start with environments that inspire. On Lesbos, the epicenter of the refugee crisis in Europe last year, I witnessed the similarities in dynamics between hosting refugees on a refugee camp and hosting a crowd on a music festival. We believe many insights from the festival industry can be integrated to redefine a refugee camp from a Spartan fashionlike environment to an inspiring festivallike experience. Adding to the festival game innovative solutions/companies, educational programs and integration of the refugee community in the management and self-sustainability of their camp will create an environment of harmony and dignity that will be an example in how to change a global issue into an opportunity that can serve humanity on a global scale. Transcending Shame, Guilt & Envy
There are many things you 'could' do, but there's nothing you 'should' do. I suspect there's no such thing as a 'should'. A should is a 'could' with shame smuggled on top of it. Come explore shame and its cousins: guilt, envy, anger and jealousy. All these emotions have one thing in common, they usually hide their tracks and are hard to admit. Learn to transcend your shame with cutting edge subjective tools. We'll investigate the nature of shame & shaming, look at the adaptive advantages of them and how they serve & do not serve our development. Join love coach Annie Lalla for some powerful exercises that will help you move beyond past shames and show you how desist from laying down new ones.
